The Coro™ Women In Leadership (WIL) program is a five-month, part-time training program that provides women the opportunity to refine their personal and professional leadership competencies, learn about the St. Louis community, and connect with other women from diverse backgrounds.
The program is held twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. WIL is now entering its 30th year, and has a strong alumni presence of over 900 women in the St Louis area who are actively engaged in addressing community issues.
The program utlizes the following training principles:
Graduates of the program gain improved leadership effectiveness to apply to their personal and professional lives, an enhanced ability to network within the community, and the access to resources to produce results. As graduate Erin Roesemeier said, "The WIL program offers an outstanding experience for women to step out of the everyday 9 to 5 and look at the bigger issues and opportunities we can address in our region - this time is very informative, eye-opening, and humbling."
