FOCUS Selects Fall 2018 Class of Coro Women In Leadership

Becky RasmussenNews

We’re pleased to announce the 18 outstanding women selected for the fall 2018 class of Coro™ Women In Leadership (WIL). The Coro WIL program is the St. Louis region’s most comprehensive leadership training program for women who are passionate about the St. Louis region and their role in positive community change.

The Coro Women In Leadership program gives women the opportunity to refine their leadership competencies, learn about the community, and connect with other women from diverse backgrounds during this three-month, part-time training program, held each fall and spring. Seminars and field days are held throughout the St. Louis region, giving participants the opportunity to visit various communities, interview leaders across sectors and observe different styles of leadership.

“This class brings together talented women from across the public, private and nonprofit sectors,” says Joani Alsop, Coro WIL program trainer and alumna. “The Coro WIL program will challenge, inspire and prepare these participants to expand their personal, professional and civic leadership capacity – and I’m excited to see what they are able to accomplish.”

Upon graduation, participants will join the network of more than 8,500 FOCUS program alumni.
